Canadians are our friends, not our enemies. I've lived within an hour of the Canadian border for my entire life and I have always considered Canadians to be our quirky cousins. I know all the words to "O Canada" (English only though, sorry, Quebec, my French is trash), I listened to Canadian radio stations growing up, and I watched "Hockey Night in Canada" just to see what Don Cherry was wearing that week. We used to drive through Ontario to visit relatives on the East Coast because my grandfather HATED Ohio.
